Traditional Romanian Cozonac

A true Romanian celebration bake, handmade at Prestige Patisserie using Chef Geanina’s family recipe - the kind of recipe that carries memories, tradition and the unmistakable aroma of Christmas through the whole house.

Our Cozonac is made slowly, in small batches, with a beautifully soft and fluffy enriched dough, delicately scented with vanilla, rum, orange and lemon zest. Each loaf is generously filled with a rich swirl of walnuts and cocoa, creating that classic marbled centre that makes Romanian Cozonac so special.

For an even more indulgent version, you can choose the same traditional walnut and cocoa filling with pieces of Turkish Delight folded through for an extra soft, sweet and nostalgic finish.

This is not a quick bread. Each Cozonac is prepared over several hours, allowing the dough time to develop its flavour, softness and characteristic texture before being baked until beautifully golden.

Turkish Delight included only in the Turkish Delight option.

Available as an individual loaf during our Christmas collection dates. As our Cozonac is made fresh in limited seasonal batches, pre-ordering is highly recommended.

Collection & Courier
Collection is from our North London patisserie. We do not provide our own delivery service, but you are very welcome to arrange a courier such as Uber Courier, Addison Lee or another service of your choice. We will be happy to hand your order safely to your driver.
