What size cake should I order?

Our cake sizes are designed to make choosing the right cake for your celebration as simple as possible. As a general guide:

  • 7" round – serves approximately 6–8 guests
  • 9" round – serves approximately 12–16 guests
  • 10" round – serves approximately 22–26 guests
  • 11" round – serves approximately 34–36 guests
  • 12" round – serves approximately 48–52 guests

Portion sizes can vary depending on how the cake is cut. If you are unsure which size is best for your celebration, please contact us and we will be happy to advise.

How much notice do you need for a cake?

We recommend ordering celebration cakes at least 48 hours in advance. Availability can vary, particularly around weekends and busy periods, so ordering earlier is always recommended.

Wedding cakes and more elaborate bespoke cakes require additional planning and should be discussed with us well in advance.

Can I order a cake online?

Yes. Our celebration cakes can be ordered directly through our website. Choose your cake, size and flavour, add any available personalisation, then select your collection date and time.

Can I personalise my cake?

Yes. Many of our celebration cakes can be personalised with a message and optional decorations when ordering online.

If you are looking for a particular colour scheme, theme or completely bespoke design, please contact us for a custom quotation.

Can you make bespoke or themed cakes?

Yes. We create bespoke and themed cakes for birthdays and other special occasions. Please contact us with your celebration date, number of guests and details of the design you have in mind. Inspiration photographs are always helpful.

Do you make wedding cakes?

Yes. We create bespoke wedding cakes for celebrations across London and beyond. Wedding cakes require additional planning, and wedding consultations are available to discuss flavours, design, size and other details.

Do you offer delivery?

Our standard online orders are collection only from our patisserie in Tottenham, North London.

You are welcome to arrange your own courier, Uber or private driver to collect your order. We are happy to hand the order to your chosen driver; however, responsibility for transportation remains with the customer once the order has been collected.

Delivery and setup for weddings and larger catering orders can be discussed separately.

Where do I collect my cake?

Orders are collected from Prestige Patisserie, Unit 20 Enterprise Row, Rangemoor Road, Tottenham, London N15 4LU.

You will select your available collection date and time during the ordering process.

How should I store my cake?

Our cakes are made with fresh ingredients and many contain fresh cream, mousse or fruit. Cakes should be kept refrigerated until required.

When transporting your cake, keep the box completely flat on a secure surface and keep the vehicle cool, particularly during warm weather.

When should I take the cake out of the fridge?

For the best flavour and texture, we generally recommend removing your cake from the refrigerator approximately one hour before serving. This can vary slightly depending on the cake and room temperature.

How long will my cake keep?

Most of our fresh cakes are best enjoyed within 3–4 days when stored correctly in the refrigerator.

Can you cater for allergies or dietary requirements?

Our kitchen handles wheat/gluten, eggs, milk, peanuts and other nuts. Although we offer selected vegan and flourless products, everything is prepared in the same kitchen and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

Please contact us before ordering if you have an allergy or specific dietary requirement.

Do you offer baking classes?

Yes. Prestige Bake Academy offers hands-on pastry and baking masterclasses at our North London patisserie, including Medovik, chocolate cake, macarons, choux pastry and other specialist classes. Private and one-to-one training is also available.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes. Gift cards are available and make a lovely present for cakes, pastries or one of our baking masterclasses.
